Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Lendoo is an app developed by FutureXS. For questions: support@lendoo.nl.
2. What data we process
All data — names, amounts, notes, photos, documents — is stored exclusively on your device. We collect no personal data, location data, tracking or analytics.
3. Local storage and backup
Via the backup function you create a ZIP archive at a location of your choice (e.g. Google Drive, OneDrive or local storage). FutureXS has no access to these files. You are solely responsible for regularly creating, safely storing and verifying your own backups. FutureXS cannot recover lost or corrupted data. Create a new backup via Settings → Backup.
4. Attachments (photos and documents)
Photos and documents you add are stored in the app-specific folder on your device. They do not leave your device unless you share them yourself.
5. Premium subscription
Payment is processed entirely via Google Play or App Store. We receive no payment details.
6. Notifications
Lendoo uses only local notifications — not via external push servers. You can always disable this in the app settings.
7. External connections
The only external connection is an anonymous fetch for remote configuration (feature flags and FAQ) via lendoo.nl. No personal data is sent.
8. App permissions (Android)
Lendoo requests only the permissions required for the features you use. Overview:
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — for the local reminders you set per loan. Only explicitly requested on Android 13 and above.
Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM) — so reminders fire exactly on the date and time you set.
Receive boot (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — to restore scheduled reminders after your device restarts.
Camera (CAMERA) — to take photos of lent items directly as attachments.
Read photos (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES) — to add existing photos from your gallery as attachments.
Read documents (READ_MEDIA_DOCUMENTS) — to add files as attachments (Android 13+).
Storage read/write (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) — for saving and importing the backup ZIP on Android 12 and older.
No permission is used for tracking, advertising or sending data to external servers. You can revoke permissions at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Lendoo → Permissions.
9. Third parties
No advertising networks, tracking SDKs or analytics platforms from third parties.
10. Your rights
You can delete all data by deleting the app. Within the app you can delete individual loans or reset the entire database via Settings.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated with new app versions. The current version is always available at lendoo.nl/en/privacy.
